I have read few of ur research articles , I have noticed that you haven't
mention one reason of the chronic poverty is the fatherhood. This problem
is mainly occurred in Africa were by father is having more than three
mistresses with children. This kind of lifestyle led to spreading of HIV,which
cause orphans who turns to be destitute in the society or facing poor
life .I think to tackle chronic poverty need implementation of laws which
enable a woman to take certain control of asserts after divorce.
I am reffering from the article which discussing that poverty traps relating
to geographical space-location. I don't think people who grew up in poor
geographical condition can not distance themselves from poor standard
of living. I can give example of people grew up in urban areas and those
from rural areas, the most sucessfully students(people) are villagers than
city students (society). Reason is those who grew up in village have desire
to live in big city. We all believe big city is the way of getting better
opportunity.
They tend to work twice harder than those who can afford education or
health care expenses. Then ten years later is opposite casa. Take example
of our first president DR Julius .k.Nyerere,was born North West part of
Tanzania and no infrastructure.Commenced primary school at aged of 16
years , and achieved masters in philosophy at Edinburgh university years
later.
