Readers' Comments:

I was very pleased to see that id21 had produced a special feature on human displacement. But I also found it quite extraordinary that UNHCR - the international organization mandated to protect and find solutions for the world's refugees - was not invited to contribute to this initiative or to comment on the papers that have been posted on the id21 website. The fact that id21 offers a 'right to reply' (limited to 300 words)does little to detract from the impression that id21 has more interest in the opinions of academic researchers than it has in the experience of humanitarian practitioners.
