Back to "Teleworking"
Teleworking can be practised in self-employment, mobile working SOHO
(small office, home office) businesses, or through the relocation of
back office work to sites at some distance from the city centre.
Teleworking can support the labour market participation of women who
have caring responsibilities, people with disabilities or others who
find it difficult to commute to work. In addition, teleworking lends
practical weight to environmental policies for reducing traffic
congestion.
