Infant mortality rate
Number of children dying under one year per 1000 live births.

Neonatal
First four weeks after birth.

Perinatal
Used more flexibly to mean around the time of birth, and may refer to the period from about 20-24 weeks gestation up until the end of the postnatal period, six weeks after birth.

Postnatal
Occurring after birth.

Titre
Quantity of a substance required to produce a reaction with a given volume of another substance.

Under five mortality rate
Number of children dying under the age of five per 1000 live births.
