Shanti Mahendra: Global Issues Editor

Shanti Mahendra holds a M.Phil Degree in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex. She has previously worked as a researcher with NGOs in India and has been primarily involved in projects that explored issues around poverty, gender and household level dynamics.

Shanti's role includes:
* sourcing appropriate research material for the Society and Economy strand of id21
* editing Research Highlights for the id21 website and newsletters
