Tim Woods: Natural Resources Editor

Tim joined id21 in March 2004 as Natural Resources and Rural Livelihoods Editor. Prior to this, he completed a Masters of Research in Environment and Development at Lancaster University. This included researching the impacts of tourism in Mahabaleshwar, India.

Tim has previously worked as a volunteer on tourism and conservation projects in New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Greece, and leads international working holidays for the British Trust of Conservation Volunteers.

Tim is responsible for the content of the Natural Resources and Rural Livelihoods sections of the id21 website which involves:

  • Sourcing material for inclusion as research highlights
  • Writing, commissioning and editing research highlights and forthcoming issues of Insights on Natural Resources
  • Issuing regular email bulletins

Tim is always happy to receive new research papers, articles or books for possible inclusion on the id21 website. Please do get in touch if you think you may have some suitable material.
