CATALOGUE OF EDUCATION RESEARCH PAPERS
published by DFID Education Division

The UK Department for International Development has been developing an expanding Education Research programme, publishing the results in a series of Education Papers. Each one represents a study or piece of commissioned research on an aspect of education and training in developing countries, undertaken in order to provide informed judgements to inform policy decisions.

This catalogue lists all the Education papers published to date, together with associated publications. The full texts of papers 1-43 are also available on a CD-ROM 'Researching Education Development',

The Education Division of the UK Department for International Development is funding 33 new education research projects involving over 30 developing countries. All projects come under one of DFID's five new education research themes. These are:

  • Education for all
  • Improving access to education
  • Skills for development
  • Globalisation, ICTs and their educational implications
  • Education and HIV/AIDS
